imble was formed in 1998 with the express aim of becoming a worldwide supplier of complete Business Management computer packages.
To date this has been achieved with the Company's 10 Vertical Market Software Packages which have been sold in such diverse places as New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, United States of America and South Africa.
Recently

imble has taken the decision to expand into Europe, and as such a branch office has just been setup in the United Kingdom. This will be supported both by existing Nimble staff and our new European Operations Manager. The extensive experience of this team will prove valuable to the successful implementation of our systems in Europe.

imble also operates a "Bespoke" Software division, and due to our many years of computer programming experience and huge library of computer code we are often able to produce software which is an exact fit for your business in a more timely and less expensive fashion than would normally be expected.

imble Head Office operates an array of Windows based file-servers connected over a 1 GB backbone. All data is backed up daily to two high speed tape drives, as well as being mirrored every four hours using standard Microsoft Technology. In the event of a power failure we operate Un-interruptible Power Supplies on all the file-servers.

imble makes use of a product called "Visual Dataflex" for its programming requirements. Visual Dataflex provides us with an "Object Oriented," true "RAD" (Rapid Application Development) environment, that is database independent and so we have chosen to use Microsoft SQL Server as our preference. Nimble's customers range from single users to over 300 concurrent users accessing the same database.
